🏫 School Profile

Gichuru Memorial High School is a public mixed day secondary school, in Karai location of Kikuyu District of Kiambu County. It is located along Thogoto – Mutarakwa road about 2½ km, west of Gikambura shopping centre, with a mailing address of P. O. Box 459-00902, KIKUYU.

The school is registered by the ministry of education under a registration number 22S00300385 as a three streamed mixed day secondary school. It has a population of 550 students with an almost equal number of boys and girls.

👥 Staffing & Management

While under sponsorship of PCEA church, the school is managed by 18 Board of Management members appointed by the ministry of education who work closely with the PA executive and by extension the entire parents body.

  • 25 Teachers provided by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
  • 10 Non-teaching staff employed by the Board of Management.

This dedicated team ensures the Ministry of Education curriculum is effectively and efficiently delivered.
